Business Name: Kimberley’s Cuisine
1. Overview
Kimberley’s Cuisine provides bespoke private chef services, event catering, and dining experiences tailored to individual client requirements.
By confirming a booking, you agree to the following Terms of Business.
2. Bookings & Payment
- A booking is confirmed upon written agreement and receipt of a 30% non-refundable deposit
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event
- For larger or bespoke events, alternative payment terms may be agreed in writing
Dates are not secured without a deposit.
3. Pricing
- All pricing is quoted in GBP (£)
- Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated
- Final pricing may vary based on guest numbers, menu changes, or additional requirements
4. Guest Numbers & Changes
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event
- Charges will be based on confirmed numbers, not attendance
- Late changes may not be accommodated
5. Dietary Requirements & Allergens
All dietary requirements must be provided in writing at the time of booking.
While every reasonable precaution is taken, Kimberley’s Cuisine cannot guarantee the absence of allergens due to shared preparation environments.

6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for ensuring:
- Suitable kitchen facilities (unless otherwise agreed)
- Access to utilities including water and electricity
- Safe and reasonable access to the venue
Any damage to equipment or property caused by guests may be chargeable.
7. Cancellations
- More than 14 days before the event: deposit retained
- 7–14 days before: 50% of total fee payable
- Less than 7 days: 100% of total fee payable
8. Cancellation by Kimberley’s Cuisine
In the unlikely event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond control (including illness or emergency):
- A full refund will be issued, or
- An alternative date will be offered where possible
Liability is limited to the total amount paid.
9. Insurance & Liability
Kimberley’s Cuisine holds Public Liability Insurance.
While all reasonable care is taken, Kimberley’s Cuisine shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Circumstances outside reasonable control
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Food Safety
Kimberley’s Cuisine is registered with Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council and operates in accordance with UK food hygiene regulations.
11. Alcohol
Where alcohol is supplied, this will be managed in accordance with UK licensing laws.
Clients may be required to ensure appropriate permissions are in place, depending on the venue.
12. Photography
We may take photographs of food and event setups for promotional use unless otherwise requested in writing.
13. Force Majeure
Kimberley’s Cuisine shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather
- Venue issues
- Government restrictions
- Utility failures
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Business are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
